 2002 Chevy S10 Zr2 Front View Mud

Super Stocker
Proving you don't need a highly modified rig to have fun in the mud, Matthew Ritchie wheels this '02 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2. Other than an aftermarket brushguard and a set of Hella driving lights, this rig is all factory.

1990 Suzuki Samurai Passenger Side View

SoCal Suzuki
Kevin Walker of Moorpark, California, owns this '90 Suzuki Samurai. The rig sports an 8,000-pound Warn winch, a pair of aftermarket front and rear bumpers, a 3.5-inch suspension lift, and 30-inch BFG M-T tires. This shot was taken in the mountains near Frazier Park, California.

1972 Chevy Blazer Passenger Side View

NoCal Blazer
Andre Madsen lives in Fremont, California, and his '72 Blazer is packed with trail goodies. Mods include a Dana 60 front axle, a 14-bolt rear axle with a Detroit Locker, an SM465 four-speed manual transmission, and a stout NP205 transfer case. What did we miss? Oh, a bad-to-the-bone Chevy small-block with an RV cam, an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifold, a 650-cfm Holley Truck Avenger carburetor, an MSD Ignition, Hedman headers, dual-chamber Flowmasters, and dual electric fans. Andre also added custom bumpers, the interior out of a '94 Suburban, a four-point rollcage, and a custom-built 8-inch suspension lift. Sweet ride, Andre!

1981 Chevy Blazer Rear View Water

Aqua Blazer
It is obvious that Jeremy Werschke of Alberta, Canada, had no issue taking his '81 Chevrolet Blazer for a swim. We can't help but wonder if the deep-water escapade was a deliberate attempt to ditch the young lady in the passenger seat. Everyone knows girls don't like cold water. Maybe the long and awkwardly quiet road trip home taught Jeremy something about how to treat a woman .... In any case, Jeremy told us he had the rig running again in a little over an hour. The Blazer features a stock small-block 350, an SM465 manual transmission, an NP208 transfer case, and 31-inch BFG A-T tires. Better luck next time, Jeremy.

 1989 Toyota Tacoma Front View

Lemon Taco Anyone?
This '89 Toyota Tacoma SR5 belongs to Clayton Morris of Salisbury, North Carolina. With more than 300,000 miles on the engine, this rig has been retired to trail-only duties. Modifications include a solid front-axle conversion and a Marlin Dual Ultimate Crawler with 4.70:1 and 2.28:1 gearing. There's also a set of 5.29:1 gears in each axle. Lift comes from a 6.5-inch spring-over along with a 3-inch body lift. A pair of chromoly front axles provides confidence while turning 38-inch Interco TSL SX tires on 15-inch steel bead-locked wheels. Clayton also plans to add a flatbed and exocage soon.
